Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students are encouraged to contact Prof. Kyoungchul Kong, the director of EXO Lab, prior to sign up for courses and be consulted about the vacancy in the laboratory and the research opportunity.
There are three options for undergraduate students; (1) Undergraduate Research Program (URP), (2) Individual Study, and (3) Research Intern. The URP and Individual Study are a part of official curriculum of KAIST, and students must take associated courses and receive respectively 3 and 1 credits. The Research Intern is an unofficial program, which is commonly for undergraduate students of other universities. Due to the high volume of inquiries, the laboratory is currently only accepting research interns through the official individual study program of KAIST. Thank you for your understanding.
For all the three options, no financial support is provided from the laboratory. For URP program, there may be a financial support from KAIST. This is not related to the laboratory, so please find relevant information on the KAIST webpage.
